The first rule of Ancient Greece is to not tick off any of the gods or goddesses, though that's already been broken. Heralded for her supernatural beauty, the attention Psyche garners worldwide causes Aphrodite to become jealous and curse her to a terrible fate: a marriage to the most monstrous being alive.
Much to Psyche's surprise, her husband seems human, even gentle. What once seemed an inconceivably terrible fate now seems like a dream come true, though trouble isn't far and Aphrodite hasn't forgiven or forgotten.

An interesting spin on the myth! I'm not the biggest fan of stat raising personally, but I do like how it was integrated into the story and overall theme. Enjoyed the writing and am curious about all those other endings! (I see there is a guide now as well, thank you!)
I can only really get the ending where Psyche doesn't get to be with Eros/Or accepted and is alone... if I try to do something else, It ramps up the loneliness WAY too fast and then I have to spend a bunch of crunch time to ease the loneliness, and building up curiosity is very hard. Even on the third playthrough, when skipping thru all the dialouge, it feels hopeless to get a good ending.
That fast loneliness build up is intentional - it'll trigger a cut scene once it hits 100, and it can max up to 5 times without significantly changing the game (depending on the choices you make with the cut scenes).
To get one of the good endings, just focus on keeping your curiosity stat low and pay attention to the choices you make during the loneliness cut scenes. :)
No matter the choices I make, I can only get ending 7. It doesn't matter if I switch up my choices for the conversations or the daily activity. :/
Let's see if we can fix that.
Try making the following choices, starting from when Psyche first enters her new home:
Thank the voice/Be quiet
Go to bed/Resist
Let him leave/Ask him to stay
The fields/The pasture/The forest
Comply/Deny
That should give you more than enough affection with Psyche's husband to avoid the bad end. If the problem persists, I would then try uninstalling/reinstalling.
Dang I'm pretty sure I did all of those - I'll have to try again (I'm not at work right now oops) when I get home.

I tried again and still got ending 7. :( I'm not sure if this helps, but I never received the choice for "Comply/Deny". Does that change anything? Please let me know if there's anything else I can do to assist or answer any questions. I've loved the game so far!
You were right! Looks like I inadvertently caused a bug in the last update I did. I uploaded a fixed build, everything should be working properly! Sorry about that, but glad to hear you like the game so far :)
Ello. I keep getting an "exception has occurred errors" during certain choices early on in the story. Like the choices after the demo. Rollback and Reload do not work if you chose the same choices.
" NameError: name 'eros_affection' is not defined"
Oh no! Unfortunately I'm having a lot of trouble reproducing this error. I did double-check the code and mess with a couple things but it's hard to tell if I fixed anything.
Could you try un-installing and re-installing the slightly updated version to see if it's fixed?
I uninstalled and re-installed the game and started a new save file. It works as intended now. :) Thank you. :D

Enjoyed playing the demo and I really like the concept of this being based on Eros/Psyche myth. I'm curious as to what other endings there might be. I do have a bit of concern whether the romance(?) will be developed considering the original myth is kinda one-sided imo.
When will the full game be released?

Without giving too much away, the majority of the bad endings branch off from the trials in the myth, and the majority of the good/neutral ends are more unique scenarios that I thought the player would enjoy having as alternative options.
The full game will be released on February 28th, 2022. :)
